Rolvenden Village Hall...
...so much more than just a hall!
The present Rolvenden Village Hall was built in 2000 with the aid of Lottery Funding to replace the much loved but outdated Church Hall. Specifically designed to meet a wide range of community needs, it has been in continuous use by local people in Rolvenden, Rolvenden Layne and the surrounding area. Rolvenden Pre-School has its home here, occupying a self-contained classroom, garden and nature area at one end of the building.
We are pleased that this tradition of having such a wonderful resource at our disposal is being maintained for the next generation. Constantly commended for its light airy atmosphere with clean modern facilities, the Village Hall is a perfect venue for your party, reception, charity lunch, meeting, fair, dance, or indoor sporting activity etc. It is currently home to a wide range of regular activities, including the weekly Village Market, Short Mat Bowls, Indoor Kurling, Zumba Dancing, Youth Club, Watercolour Painting, Bridge, The Women’s Institute, Pilates, Yoga, Gardening Club etc.
On the following pages you will find all sorts of useful information - the facilities of the hall, what it costs to hire, how to get in contact with our Hall Manager and lots more. Take a look at our gallery to see some pictures of the hall.
We have a lot to offer, from our well-equipped modern kitchen through to the raised staging and inclusive sound system - and not forgetting our bar facilities and large main hall. We welcome all kinds of enquiries from potential users and it is simple to get in touch: just click 'Contact Us' on the menu and Mandy Babbage, our Hall Manager, will be pleased to answer all your questions.
