We have a range of facilities available that are suitable for a wide variety of uses. Whatever you have in mind, be it meetings, parties, gatherings or social events our modern array of rooms and equipment will mean you will be resourced.

If you need a location to run a training seminar or somewhere to host your amateur dramatic production or art exhibition - or if you want to organise a fair or market and need a versatile modern facility in which to hold it - we are confident that your needs can be met.

Facility List 

Our large heated Main Hall (20m x 10m) with a wooden sprung floor and ‘daylight’ lamps is suitable for dance or exercise classes and can be used for sports activities from basketball to badminton. The capacity for dining is up to 150 diners in comfort, with velvet padded chairs for weddings, anniversaries and parties. Theatrical performances can seat up to 300 people including your AGM or seminar, while standing room is up to 400 people for indoor public entertainment.

Full length curtains provide a blackout facility and the windows have privacy blinds and eco-friendly sun-screen film to reduce solar heat and glare. A drop-down screen is available for projection presentations, while the hall has excellent acoustics for voice and music, with a sound loop system for the hard of hearing.

The modular raised staging and sound system (including a piano) ensures the hall is suitable for presentations, meetings, speeches, gatherings and theatre productions. The hall has direct access to the kitchen, which has serving hatches into both the main hall and the foyer.

The Foyer doubles as both a spacious reception area and/or a bar with a wide hatch into the drinks servery in the kitchen.

Our modern Kitchen is clean and well stocked with a 6 burner industrial quality cooker, a hot cupboard, fridge, freezer, drinks cooler, microwave oven, kettles, teapots, crockery for tea parties or banquets, cutlery etc. The generous work surfaces include a central stainless steel island worktop. There is no extra charge for the use of the kitchen facilities, which are available for all times for hirers. Catering and food supply is available for your event, just tell us what you need and we will be pleased to see if we can help.

Our Gallery Room (8m x 6.4m) is situated on the first floor with full carpeting. It is available for occasional use and is ideal for those who require a more bespoke space for a meeting room, a small exhibition or activity groups. The room is heated with its own separate air conditioning unit available and a sound loop system. Access is by stairs only.

The Office (5m x 2.6m) is a quiet carpeted ground floor room with heating and a conference table for up to 12 people. The Office is ideal for small committees, private meetings, interviews or surgeries etc. The room contains a large photocopier and copies can be made by arrangement.

The Car Park complements our hall and allows for cars to be safely parked in an attractive setting including dedicated disabled spaces. Additional roadside parking is available and nearby overspill parking is available at the Rolvenden Club.

Full Disabled Access is available into the foyer, main Hall and kitchen and there is a dedicated disabled toilet.

Baby Changing facilities are located within the disabled toilet unit.
